Over the years I became more and more aware of the synthetic chemicals we surround ourselves with on a daily basis — “fragrance”, “phthalates”, “parabens” to name a few. I knew essential oils could be an effective alternative to some of these toxic elements.
But, I also knew that if I was going to be putting these on myself and my children that I wanted them to be as safe and effective as could be.
That is how I found my way to dōTERRA. I kept having powerful experiences with the oils when I would use them for myself and my children. So, I started just sharing them with friends and family because I wanted them to experience the benefits too!
Pursuing this as a business was not my intention when I started using and sharing these products. The idea of sharing the benefits of the oils with others, creating a residual income as well as being able to choose the people that influence me persuaded me that this was worth my time and effort.
